Life before Daingerfield:
Jett was born to an impassioned father and a mother who didn't want him. He has a romantic notion that she will return one day, and has smuggled away an old portrait of her which he keeps in his drawer. His father proved ready to do anything to find them a place in the world, and Jett's early memories are of long days with neighbors, and later long days at school, waiting anxiously for his father to come home at night. They left New York when he was six, moving west as Ed's band of bandits grew. When they settled Jett was sent to school, and kept from harms way, but soon they would pick up again. On the road Jett was never far from Ed, and should he be present during business or a shoot out their was no one else he was trusted with.

How did they come to Daingerfield:
After more then four years of the nomadic bandit life they had perhaps been cheating fate that their had not yet been an incident. Jett doesn't remember much of what happened, beyond the panicked voices and his father shoving him into the panzer. He had never once been injured under his father's care, and he had no reason to think this time would be any different, but there was a brief moment he caught an unfamiliar look in his father's eye when he knew they were in trouble.

He doesn't remember how he came to be in the strange bed in Daingerfield, the last he remembered he was safe in his father's lap. Now he had a splint on his arm, a large cut across his face, and his father was no where in sight. Their caretakers had gotten quite the tongue lashing from the young boy when they tried to stop him from seeking out his father. It wasn't until he had his father's reassurance that he finally let his guard down.

Surviving Daingerfield:
Once his father was well enough they reverted their former lives, but now, Jett was to remain at home on the ranch, something he is not overly pleased about, missing his bonding time with Edric. He detested Daingerfield in the beginning, and took even longer to warm to the new men working for his father. He has since become friends with the local rancher’s son, Danton Riley, though at times their relationship has been rocky. Jett likes to brag about a life he never lived, and has all sorts of tales about their life before Daingerfield, whether or not Danton believes him is another story. Their fathers do not seem pleased with this arrangement, not being overly fond of one another.

Jett has not yet passed his full judgment on life here. It has begun to grow on him now, though he still wishes to return to the bigger cities when he is grown. Well educated, Jett has high ambitions, and while he may have an innocent look about him his eyes share the same intensity of his father.
